InteliChart Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

InteliChart by and for itself and on behalf of its customers offers access to information via recurring SMS (Short Message Service) text alerts to “opted-in” subscribers. By opting-in to a Text Message Program, you expressly consent to receiving text messages from InteliChart on behalf of your applicable Healthcare Provider (as your Healthcare Provider’s technology provider) at the mobile telephone number associated with your patient record with such Healthcare Provider. Text messages can only be sent to mobile phones. These text messages may contain protected health information (PHI) about you so you should only consent if you are comfortable receiving PHI on your mobile phone. By opting into your Healthcare Provider’s Text Message Program, you agree only to send keyword responses, as prompted by within the text messages you receive through the Text Message Program, to your Healthcare Provider’s short code. You acknowledge that non-keyword responses will not be monitored.

Is there a cost associated with the Text Message Program?

InteliChart imposes no charges for the text messages provided as part of Text Message Programs; however, message and data rates may apply depending on the terms and conditions of your mobile phone contract. InteliChart and your Healthcare Provider do not have any control over these rates, nor any other obligations you may have to your mobile carrier in connection with your text messaging service. Please contact your mobile service provider about any charges.

Is my carrier supported by the Text Message Program?

How often will I receive messages from InteliChart?

InteliChart, on behalf of your Healthcare Provider, offers informational text messages regarding your opted-in membership preferences, including (but not limited to) information regarding appointment reminders, billing reminders, general wellness, healthcare programs, and/or general health information. Following opting in to receive notifications, the frequency of text messages you receive will vary based on the text messages services, number of text message services in which you enrolled, and frequency of services received from your Health Care Provider.

How can I opt-out of receiving text messages?

Once enrolled in an applicable Text Message Program, you may opt-out of such Text Message Program (i.e., stop text messages) at any time. With respect to any text message you receive through an applicable Text Message Program, you may reply STOP, at which time we will reply by text to give you the option to stop all associated text messages. You may also opt out by contacting your applicable Healthcare Provider and instruct then that you wish to opt-out of its Text Message Program. Upon opting-out, no additional text messages will be sent unless you re-activate your enrollment in the applicable Text Message Program through your healthcare provider.

What is your Privacy Policy?

InteliChart places high priority to the privacy of our users. The privacy policy can be viewed here . The following is provided to address any concerns you may have regarding our text message services:

  • InteliChart will never, under any circumstances, sell or distribute your mobile phone number to third parties or InteliChart clients for whom you have not approved.
  • InteliChart will never distribute any personal information about you, including your phone number, name, billing information or any other piece of identifying information.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

InteliChart may revise, modify, or amend these Text Messaging Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such revision, modification, or amendment shall take effect when it is posted to the InteliChart website. Your continued consent to receive text messages will indicate your acceptance of those changes.
